David Meeker is no stranger to stepping into a new venture and finding great success. So it should come as no surprise that he finds himself at the forefront as a franchise owner with new brand Fully Promoted (formerly known as EmbroidMe), whose retail storefront offers the most expansive set of marketing and advertising solutions available to small-and medium-size business owners seeking to brand themselves and make an impression.

After all, Meeker was 16 years old when he began working at Arby’s Unit #1 in Boardman, Ohio (“yes, the very first Arby’s restaurant,” he confirms to those wondering) and 46 years later he and his business partner sold 16 Arby’s restaurants they owned in the Hampton Roads area, leaving Meeker the opportunity to take on a new endeavor.

Meeker took over the EmbroidMe at 3018 Virginia Beach Blvd., in Virginia Beach at the end of April and converted the store to the new business model and brand name Fully Promoted.

“My former career proves that there are still opportunities to succeed working from the bottom up if you pay attention and work hard,” said the 63-year-old Meeker, a Virginia Beach resident. “Fully Promoted’s customer base is small businesses who need help promoting their brand but who most likely can’t afford mainstream media. I understand the challenges a small business faces in this area and my educational background is in marketing. I think I can offer some very valuable tools that will drive their business.”

Keeping all the great services that EmbroidMe offered, Fully Promoted not only offers the former’s customized apparel and promotional products, but added much demanded items such as printing and digital marketing services to give small- and medium-size businesses a comprehensive solution to raising their brand awareness and gaining customers.

As a testament to its success, Fully Promoted was ranked 20th by The Advertising Specialty Institute’s (ASI) Counselor magazine in its annual Top 40 Distributor’s listing, which recognizes the top distributors in the $20 billion-plus promotional products industry based upon the previous year’s gross revenue.

“This brand had the foresight and smarts to evolve and stay relevant with services that are in demand,” concluded Meeker. “That reflects who I am too.”

About Fully Promoted (formally known as EmbroidMe)

Franchise industry giant United Franchise Group announced in January 2017 that EmbroidMe, the franchise leader in the promotional products industry, would widely expand its services and become known as Fully Promoted to better reflect its offerings. Announced at the company’s annual convention, the change was a result of a significant evaluation of the changing needs of its worldwide customer base and provides an expanded set of business branding and marketing services to small- and medium-size businesses. Fully Promoted has more than 300 Resource Centers in 12 countries and plans to open more than 100 new Resource Centers in 2017 (70 in the United States), reaching 500 locations worldwide by the end of 2018.
